The film will have Kamal Hassan and Mohanlal share the screen for the first time in their career.Kamal Hassan will don the role performed by Nasurudeen Shah while Mohanlal replaces Anupam Kher.The music and background score for the film will be donned by none other than Sruthi Hassan,Daughter of Kamal Hassan.The film had a short teaser released in which Sruthi has sung a background hum.

The film will be directed by Chakri Toleti who has worked with Kamal Hassan as a child artiste in his yesteryear hit ‘Salangai Oli’.Chakri had recently worked with Kamal Hassan in Dasavatharam in which he comes as Kamal friend Ram.Most Popular character of his is that of Bhagyaraj’s Brother-in-Law in Chinna Veedu.

‘Unnai Pol Oruvan’ will be produced by Kamal Hassan  himself for Raaj Kamal Films International in association with Ronnie Screwala for UTV Motion Pictures.The film is expected to be released in the Final quarter of 2009 or the beginning of 2010.

Satyam after the money laundry scandal had it’s board of directors reappointed by the government.The new board had decided to give out Satyam computers in an auction.The auction had Software Tycoons like L & T,Wilbur Ross and Tech Mahindra in the competition.It was strongly believed that L & T which was the biggest shareholder would take Satyam.

The results of the auction is out and Tech Mahindra has bought out Satyam Computers with 30.28 crore shares which is 31% of the total shares and sums upto Rs.1,756 crores.Anand Mahindra,Chairman Tech Mahindra, addressed the press saying “This is a landmark development for Tech Mahindra and I am delighted that we are the highest bidder for Satyam”.

Ajithkumar’s next movie asal is going to be launched at Chennai on the 8th of April,2009.The film’s tagline is ‘The Power of Silence’.Ajith will don a new look for the film having a moustache as one used by Kamalhassan in Virumandi.Sameera Reddy of Varanam Aayiram fame will be Ajith’s Ladylove in  the film.Above is the Invitation for the same.The film will be directed by Director Saran,who worked with Ajith previously in Attagasam,Amarkkalam and Kadhal Mannan.The Story is by the popular film critic Yugi Sedhu and the film will be produced by Actor Prabhu for Sivaji Productions.Saran is back pairing with Music Director Baradhwaj and it will be Kaviperarsu Vairamuthu who will pen the lyrics.The film has risen expectations from the date of announcement.Check the blog for latest information about the film.
